The Foundation for Aboriginal and Islander Research Action (FAIRA) strongly condemns the Liberal Party of Queensland for preferring that preferences go to a racist party.

As a major political force in Australian politics the Liberal Party should never give endorsement to a racist candidate or Party.
In their current endorsements the Liberal Party and the National Party are committing half the population of Queensland to prefer a racist party.
Liberal voters who believe that they cannot endorse racism should look towards the Democrat Party or the Green Party as alternative parties for their first choice in votes.
Racist parties and racist candidates should be placed last.
Queensland voters who believe human rights is fundamental ethic of government in this country, who do not support the right to govern at any cost, should make a stand.
