Townsville Council on Notice
The Townsville Council is understood to be in the process of locking the region’s homeless people out of the city’s parks. This is a major concern to FAIRA who has been involved in a long-running battle to protect the rights of those the Council considers undesirable. The FAIRA legal team is currently assessing the decision...next issue they’ll report back on the legalities and implications for Townsville’s park people.
